Customer Reviews & Feedback

5 stars, and they earned every one. From the first conversation, Ray and his team treated me like a customer worth listening to. I came in with a list of concerns about my house in Chagrin Falls and they worked through every single one instead of brushing anything aside. Ray explained the options in plain language and got me set up with the right system for the home at a fair and competitive price. Nobody tried to upsell me on something I didn't need, which is rarer than it should be in this business and a big reason I went with them. The real test came during the install. A few surprises turned up, the kind of thing that usually leads to a phone call about change orders and extra charges. That call never came. They handled it, ate the difference, and finished the job right. If you're anywhere in Cuyahoga County and comparing waterproofing companies, save yourself the trouble and call Imperial Waterproofing. You can tell this is a crew that takes pride in its work. Highly recommended.

Ray and the crew at Imperial Waterproofing did outstanding work, and they rolled several separate projects into one job at a very fair price. The main job was a full storm water drainage system. They installed commercial grade 4" PVC pipe tying in 10 downspouts and the sump pump discharge, repaired a bad downspout on the front right, and put clean out assemblies at the base of every downspout so the system is easy to access down the road. They trenched through the front flower bed, ran the line under the sidewalk, wrapped around the left side of the house, picked up 4 more downspouts plus the sump line, and tied into an existing 6" pipe they had located during the assessment. Then they handled the last 3 downspouts near the right rear, trenched past the driveway, and discharged everything out into the wooded area at the back of the property. No more standing water in my yard. While they were here they also graded the front yard and put down high quality topsoil, grass seed, and straw, and the new grass is coming in great. They removed dead trees and ground out the stumps, redid a gravel RV pad that a previous company botched, and built a gravel turnaround road around my backyard shed that works perfectly as an RV pull through. They also handled the city on the permitting side and pulled everything that was required, which took a lot of stress off my end. Ray is the owner of Imperial Waterproofing and brings 50 years of commercial and residential experience to the job, and it shows. He was straightforward from the first walkthrough, the crew worked hard and cleaned up after themselves, and the pricing for the whole package was more than fair. If you want it done right the first time, call Ray.

Honest company hardworking crews

Ray, the owner of Imperial Waterproofing was recommended to me by a gutter company. He and his team were prompt, efficient and organized. Ray is very personable & explained everything to me; he was very knowledgeable & has many years of experience. They did a great job digging a trench to tie a downspout into a sewer drain and cleaned up after; this has greatly helped to reduce the amount of water runoff into our backyard.

Ray and his crew did a awesome job. They combined four separate jobs into one for a very fair price. They redid part of my driveway and put in a new driveway drain, cut out the bad concrete in my garage pad and put in new concrete to level it out, redid my front steps and put in new drain tile around my garage so my backyard no longer looks like a small lake when we get alot of rain. Thank you.
